Are You Working Shorter or Harder?

A Project of http://youthcm.com
Youth Career Management (YCM) reported that: "Worker smarter, not harder” is an old saying, those who act accordingly are far much better than those who don’t.  In expert opinion the only difference between smart working and hard working is its effectiveness rather than efficiency; where efficiency is doing the job right and effectiveness is doing the job right.  It’s quite thoughtful!!!!!!!
Here are the top ten tips for becoming a smart worker rather than a hard worker:
  • Figure out when you are at your peak.
I know my time when my abilities are at my peak usually from 9:00 A.M. to noon, identify yours. As per the expert opinion extensive mind consuming tasks can be handled much well if they are done in afternoon.
  • Turn off your e-mail notifications
Want to focus but e-mail pop ups are disturbing?? Its usual, try to off such things while you are trying to concentrate on a difficult task.
  • Expect the unexpected
Don’t become a machine who works as per the instructions of time table. Try to give yourself some flexibility it will improve your capabilities.
  • Say NO occasionally
Don’t be shy or resistant learn to say no to those things that are not your priority. It is more appreciated if you say NO in a YES way.
  • Learn to set priorities
1. Try to set priorities in your life, for example: The task is urgent and important
2. It's important but not urgent
3. It's urgent but not important
4. Its not urgent and not important
  • Stay focused
You must have attended various meeting where everything than the basic purpose are discussed. It is more appreciated to stay focus for what meeting is called to do so effectively be clear about the meeting agenda and make sure others are well known about the purpose; this will make a positive contribution to remain on the right direction.
  • Clear out your clutter
Trying to focus on one thing but still there are a lot of things that are continuously causing clutter?? The best way to handle this situation is to clear out all the mess and just have only those files on your table in which you are trying to work.
  • Remember to take a break
Tried?? Of course you are now you are unable to do your task; it’s a good time to take a break rather than hitting your head again and again.
  • Don't procrastinate
Don’t be a lazy bee, just do what is needed remember “a stitch in time saves nine” this is all what you are require to do to become smarter.
  • Be positive
Be positive. Every problem on earth must have a solution as every lock has a key to unlock it. Don’t stare at lock try to find out the key. This will defiantly unlock the door for unlimited happiness and of course success.
